Lost lots of data from numerous windows on Opera upon computer restart

I am running Opera v. 82.0.4227.23 on a Windows 10 PC.
Last night I was trying to experiment with the sync function on another computer. I was able to view all the tabs on my main device, but I did not open them on my other device. I say this to say that they were visible from the sync overlay at this point in the sequence. In doing this, my intentions to cast my start screen and all of my extensions and their related data to my other computer were unsuccessful, and little did I know, for some reason enabling sync on my account between these two computers, despite me logging in to the "master device" first, caused the 'reopen closed tabs upon start' on this said prominent device to reset to the default, which is set to not reopen closed tabs on start.
I signed out of the sync on my main device before going to bed, and overnight, blasted bloody windows decided to auto-update, and after getting off of work I discovered that all of the windows I have been working with and on for the course of many months have been wiped, and I am not able to restore them or find them in my history as most of them were opened over 90 days ago. Commonly windows auto-updates and restarts (despite me trying to get it not to ffs) but because I tried to set up sync and it Reset My Settings On Its Own Without Verification , I was not able to reopen my opera windows this time..
I researched this issue and found a few recommendations to check the pathway and profiles folder, and in this folder I haven't been able to find the specific recent tabs and current tabs folders, but I have been able to find some hopeful files in the sessions, logs, and session storage folders that have dates that are right before this incident (12/1, and last night 12/02.) Sadly I don't know how to check these files or attempt to restore my version, and I am just humbly asking for any possible help.
Some of the tabs I had open are Literally Irreplaceable , as they originated from deep web links and the sort. (Not dark web, nothing illicit or illegal, just stuff for academics and work that are not listed on any website anymore.)
I have lost a lot of very sensitive data and I do not know how to reobtain it, and I feel broken and desperate. I figure that if there is a will there is probably a way that I have not been able to intuit.
Please, any help or suggestions in the matter would mean the world. Thanks if you took your time to at least read through this.

@airin42 You can try data recovery method. With such software like Recuva, Disk Drill, MiniTool Power Data Recovery, Wondershare Recoverit, R-Studio, etc., you can try to recover an older version of your 'History' file from your profile folder - %AppData%\Opera Software\Opera Stable
Not sure if this will help in your case. It's better to have already installed them. Or, if installing now, try to install them on another disk (partition). A portable data recovery tool is preferably. -
