Because Opera / Opera GX does not have a button for a 64-bit and only downloads 32-bit of Opera, causing 0xc0000005 [Access Violation].
This is caused by downloading in the download page of Opera which is 32-bit by default it does not give you any option, Why? because if a user (Windows 64-bit) runs the 32-bit Opera from the official download page causes it to fail because Opera (32-bit) is trying to run in 64-bit, which you can't install the Opera / Opera GX.

@jamstudioscorporation In https://www.opera.com/download you can download offline installers for 32 and 64 bits Opera GX.
The online installer downloads the version, 32 or 64 bits, according to your OS and previous version of Opera GX installed.

@jamstudioscorporation And you can run 32 bits software in Windows 64 bits, the opposite is that isn't possible.

@leocg It seems like the 32-bit default from the official Opera / Opera GX installers 32-bit does not run on 64-bit, in 64-bit Windows 10, A Manual 32-bit / 64-bit is very helpful just in case if Opera / Opera GX download an unsupported bit version of the OS, in order for 64-bit users to finally install Opera / Opera GX., I hope this manual button feature is implemented in order for users to install the supported bit installer.

@leocg Um.. You sure about that? I have tested it and it still installed the 32-bit in a WINDOWS 64-BIT, wtf bruh, It does not detect your OS's bit and you guys need to create a 32-bit / 64-bit option especially when windows 11 is now on the rise, and its only 64-bit,.

@jamstudioscorporation You are talking about the online installer? Try downloading it from a 64 bits browser.
By the way, in opera://about it says that it is 32 bits? -
