Behavior Difference with Whatsapp Sidebar

in Windows when the Whatsapp side bar is open I click any part of Opera (even title bar) and side bar gets tucked in.
However in Linux Opera is expecting the click to be mandatorily within any of the tabs (below the address bar only to hide the side bar. This could be at times present a piquant problem when the tab that is visible has an application that handles all clicks even at the document level like banking websites.
