New tab: cursor does not appear in address bar/search bar automatically

steps to reproduce

1. open new tab
2. try to type "opera.com"

actual result: nothing will be typed since the cursor is not in search/address bar automatically
other browsers support it from the scratch.

safari:

expected result: cursor is in search/address bar so i can type address or else instantly

system details:

• Version:79.0.4143.22
• Update stream:Stable
• System:macOS Version 11.5.2
