Extensions does not work in the sidebar messengers and music players.

I just want to use an extension for Spotify web player to get lyrics but sidebar player doesnt recognized by extension. I know the problem is not on the extension side cause I checked with Whatsapp notification sound changer extension too and It didnt see sidebar Whatsapp messenger either. These two extension works without any issue when opened in the normal tab. So I wonder is there any trick or setting that I can change to make extensions work in the sidebar apps?
