@leocg I have long tapped and clicked on Add Search Engine and clicked OK but I couldn't find it on the search engine list in settings page. So, I couldn't set Brave search as my default search engine.

@dhiraj You probably will not be able to do it since Opera only allows pre-defined search engines to be set as the default one.

You can select it by tapping on the search engine logo on the left of address bar.
