Can't sync passwords

So to try things out, i downloaded opera gx on my laptop and wanted to synchronize to see if things will be easy and the same, yet i was disappointed to know that somehow even tho i set passwords to synchronize on my current main computer, it said i couldn't synchronize my passwords. And now that i didn't select passwords to be synchronized on my laptop, its stuck in a loading loop and not going anywhere.

What do i do if i want to keep my data on my new device?

@pelperson You can export and then import your passwords if you can't sync them.

@leocg its not telling me why i cant sync passwords. Its only telling me that i cant sync passwords

@pelperson That's very strange. When exactly it happens? Just after you have enabled passwords sync?

@leocg it happens when i try to sync with my account and select passwords too since its disabled by default. and then when i do so it tells me i cant sync passwords.

@pelperson Go to the the passwords manager section in settings page. To import, you may need to enable the import passwords flag.
