I have been Opera User for years and it has worked flawlessly. Sadly, it will no longer launch and I have every possible workaround online (complete uninstalling/reinstalling, creating exceptions in my antivirus program, cleaning entries in the registry etc.). I am running Windows 10 64 with the latest updates (including the May 2021 Feature release).
Here is the error:
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have the same issue and am unable to resolve. Opera has been installed and running perfectly for many months. The browser was working fine all morning and the error started around 1pm GMT on Wed 2nd June. No amount of uninstalling/reinstalling makes any difference.

Uninstall and reinstall both the x86 and x64 Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for "2015-2019", "2013", and "2008". Start with the "2015-2019" package to see if it alone fixes things.

@burnout426 Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, but it did not work. Still getting the error.

@wcladley This is a simple .net AIO try that
"AIO Runtime Libraries by Wilenty 2018-03-24" Gooble it.
fixes most of the .net bullshitz. -

Update: The Beta version of Opera for Windows 10 64 is working fine on this PC. Very odd.

You could try https://stackoverflow.com/a/23448496/1697 where you look at the application logs in the Windows Event Viewer to see if there are any errors after trying to start Opera. Maybe you'll find more details about the 0x0000022 error where it shows what file is missing or corrupter or failed to load. Then, go from there.
