Clicking link always opens in new tab

Whenever I click a link it always opens in a new tab (just a normal click not a middle click). Somebody help me fix this please!!

@inju5tice If a link will be opened in the same tab or in a new one when clicked, it's up to the page author to decide.
Some browsers may have an option to override it but Opera, as well as many other browsers, does not have it.

You can try using an extension to change the behavior when clicking on a link.

@leocg It used to not happen but idk why it suddenly started happening like a few days ago
