Opera Screenshot tool can be extended to support the entire desktop like Snipping Tool

I would like Opera team to investigate into the feasibility of extending Opera screenshot tool to be a drop-in replacement for Snipping Tool.

Perhaps you can take cue from a similar look like Awesome Screenshot (Google Chrome Extension) that has options for in-browser and as desktop-capture and try to emulate that behavior for a similar enhancement too.
