Speed dial issues on Opera 62

I recntly updated to version 62.3.3146
The first thing I noticed was that the last 3 of my existing speed dial icons were replaced by Amazon and eBay. I deleted those unwelcomed additions and two of my original icons reappeared. I went to the site for the third one, and then chose from the menu "add to speed dial". The icon was added, not to the existing 6, but under a line with the text "recommended for you'll. After I closed and reopened the browser a few times, the icon disappeared again. I finally used the plus sign, and entered a name and the URLs, and the icon appeared in the correct place, and stayed there.
My device is a Samsung Galaxy tab A, 10", Android 8.1

One more thing that happened when I started to log in to the forum. On the speed dial screen there was again the "recommended for you'll area, offering me Google, which just happens to be the first of my regular icons. I understand the commercial aspect of Opera, but not stupid things. Why didn't it check what was already there?
