[Suggestion] Tab Groups

The feature I'm requesting is a feature that is currently in Google Chrome which enables more customization and convenience by having tabs grouped together and being able to collapse it as you see fit.
-
This feature should be implemented to maintain the image of customization and control the Opera GX browser promotes and it is something that would ease people to changing browsers more conveniently.

@leocg I tried workspaces but it is very intransparent as you never really know that there actually is something in a workspace unless you open it and look inside. I really wanted to get accustomed to it, but I rather just used different windows instead, because 1: you know there IS a window with extra content and it is actually used. 2: windows lets you "peek" and see whats inisde in that windows.
But Tab groups are right there besides the other tabs and super quickly accessible. It just speeds up the tedious work of managing your open webpages tremendously.
I first saw this on my Spanish colleagues computer who is using chrome. Then I had to work on two different Jira accounts and have used Edge for that which also has this feature and experienced it myself.
Tab grouping, like Chrome and Edge does it, may be the biggest killer feature for someone like me, a freelancer and private person, working on multiple projects at once and having so many tabs to manage.
And I really tried to use workspaces, but it's essentially not really different to use multiple windows.
You can achieve many tasks in different ways, they only difference is the User Experience. And the UX for tab groups is excellent compared to every other tried solution I came across so far (being on the internet since 1996) -

@ninili You may not remember what tabs and/or windows you have opened in a workspace, but based on the icon and name you've chose for it you can imagine what to find out there.
It also helps you focusing in something, in a theme. For me, workspaces are better than tabs groups.
Anyway, I was just informing a fact when I wrote that post seven months ago.

I suggest creating the function of tabs in groups.
I use extensions and don't work very .-. -

Hello
I think Tab Groups is an amazing feature to add.
I really like workspace, but like its name, it's a workspace, and in a space, you would like to group things. The claim that workspace is operas "tabs group" implementation... well... is sad.
One difference is - I can have many windows, in tab groups, I can have a different tab group for different windows.
but with workspaces I am stuck with the same workspaces on all windows. Now consider this use case. I have a workspace where I hold all my tv shows, other workspaces for studying, and another for whatever.
wouldn't it be cool if I could group the courses? wouldn't it be cool if I could group the shows?
Sadly if I want to do this with workspaces I would have a very large amount of them, and won't be able to switch with ease even if I use shortcuts....Point is, workspaces and tab groups are different (in use, in name, in ability). regardless of the intent, seems like there is a real use for it (and many post, requests and such) and I think it would be a good thing to implement it.

@xlad exactly, Workspaces are definitively more like chrome windows than tabs i agree.
to use another analogy workspaces are like folders, if u put everything in them u wont be able to find what u need that easily (even if u have multiple folders for different things) need when u have allot of files inside them so what do u do? u create sub folders to sort the things inside the main folder to make it much easier to find what u are looking for.
i am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to tabs so i have hundreds of tabs open at this time (probably over 1000 total on chrome atm), i want to switch to Opra GX because of its ability to limit how much Power/CPU/RAM my many many browser tabs are using to help my computer handle things faster and have a much longer lifespan (granted my last PC lasted 15 years) but without the ability to group tabs together i would need to have like 30+ workspaces to sort everything out properly so i can much more easily find what i am looking for as to appose the 4 different windows i have open in chrome that has 28 current tab groups and even then i have allot of tabs that aren't sorted so image what i would have to go through if i didn't have those easily found 28 tab groups, it would be impossible to find anything if i didn't so that's why Opra GX needs this feature, just because some people don't need to use it doesn't mean that there aren't people who do need it am i right?.
