History synchronization hit and miss

I am using Opera 74.0.3911.160 on a Win7Pro PC.
I am having problems losing history every day, so I thought I would check the synced history. OMG!
There's only 34 history entries! I've been using Opera every day for about a week. I've been shopping for a new mattress, so I have been looking at over a dozen websites.
There was 1 history entry for today.
Then 2 for Feb. 19.
Then we jump to July 22, 2020 which only has 1 entry!!!
