Is the future of Opera browsers' sync capabilities jeopardized?......by the privatization by Google of the sync API that was present in chromium?

@leocg I'd be pleasd to have a strong confirmation on this, but in the mean time I'll just believe you.

@nycticorax You can't sync using your Google account, that's what Google seems to be blocking.

@leocg Incorrect, Google is blocking the chromium Sync API. I mean I'd rather have a firm Yes or No from the devs rather than speculations. If this is not a place the devs visit I can contact them directly.

@nycticorax It's called Chrome Sync API and, for what I could understand, it's for accessing Google Sync services and store your data using your Google account in Google servers.
                Opera doesn't use it.
