Ok. I love this browser. I literally cannot live without out it. here are a few things I do not like, or feel like can be improved on.
- A simple one. A pop-out would be amazing for the player. I love this thing so much, it's so helpful. I mainly use youtube music, but I feel it would be amazing to add a button to pop out the video that is playing. Some would find this distracting. But I love the idea of being able to have a visualizer at the top of my screen! Yes, I realize there is a pin button. But this is annoying and takes up half of my screen. I just want a pop out of the video, or "now playing" song cover art that I can drag around the screen.
- Fix force dark mode. This is an amazing feature to have. I find it extremely good on the eyes, especially at night time. I just feel that it isn't as reliable as it should be. Sometimes on a google doc, it doesn't make the text white, when it was originally black, making the text blend in with the black background. I also would find it very nice to be able to customize this dark mode to make certain things specific colors or shades.
- Improve Adblocker. This thing is so nice I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to enjoy the internet without ads. I just feel it could be slightly improved. For example, on https://aternos.org, if you use the adblocker, you get this,
then when you click the button, it takes a few seconds to get back to the page. This happens EVERY time I click on anything or reload. On some sites, it doesn't even give me the option to "Continue with adblocker anyway" button, and I have to disable the ad blocker, or it won't let you enter the site. Anotherannoyance I have found, isthat sometimes when the adblocker blocks an ad, the website yells at you instead, and tells you to disable it. This isn't as bad, but still annoying.
Thank you for this amazing software Opera!

Maybe I'm not like everybody? Would be nice to accommodate me though.
In my Volume Mixer, I have almost everything set to around 16% volume, except for the master control, which is set to 100%. Every time Opera updates, I'm met with the Opera splash screen. When that shows up, it blows my ears off (because the volume level of the Splash is independent from the volume level of the browser)
EVEN IF I'm able to VERY QUICKLY lower the splash volume, the very next "update" that causes the splash screen to show again will be 100% volume again.I'm really getting sick of throwing my headphones off my head because of this browser.

Please add a shortcut to close any side window open. Like "Escape" or something.
This is really painfull to have to find the opened icon to close it manually -

Hello! I love this browser and have been using it for a month now and its better than anything out there! One thing id love to see added is password recommendation when signing up to websites or when changing a password, multiple other browsers do this and would be very convenient to have the quick suggestion. Thank you and have a great day!
Regards,

Hello, this isn't much of a discussion but I just wanted to say how much I like the Opera GX browser, when I download files it goes so much faster than with Microsoft Edge or Google for example. And I also like that I can style my browser so much! That's all I wanted to say, thank you Opera GX creators.

Hello! I really like the browser, but it lacks the ability to move the sidebar to the right side. And... so that it hangs and crashes less

I'm gonna be honest the Force Dark Pages one is cool. But it would be better if you could disable it for some links and websites as it doesn't work well with some.

@directpass It's possible as mentioned here several times. Just right click on a page.

@leocg For me the only big issue I can see is that I suddenly close all my tabs, by mistake or because the software crashes, and this is particularly annoying.
This time I swear I didn't do anything weird, Opera crashed suddenly and when I reopened my browser all the tabs were gone.I feel very comfortable with Opera as my main browser to work, I can organize myself very well. But this error breaks my head a little.

I run spotify in the player widget and twitch in the main window. The reason is because I wanted to be able to toggle spotify on without blocking twitch, which I can do by pinning spotify in opera gx. However, sometimes adjusting the volume in twitch will pause spotify, and hitting play on spotify will pause the twitch stream I'm watching. Running multiple audio sources is very common, and opera gx should not force exclusivity to a single audio source.
Secondly, I'd like to request a feature, add a mixer widget which takes individual tabs and gx widgets as inputs. and allows the user to mix them easily.

Right click on gx corner tab. Click on send to sidebar. Go to sidebar settings. Disable gx corner

@emerod there are options to remove GX corner and every icon in the sidebar. You can completely remove the sidebar in general.
Just go to settings and type "sidebar"

You can right click any icon on the sidebar to hide it. You can customize or remove the sidebar entirely in the options menu.

Heya, just something I thought would be nice to have: integrate the built-in player to PreMiD or Discord Rich Presence natively. It's a brilliant feature that unfortunately doesn't work with Discord or its third-party presence addon

So having used the app, I'm really enjoying it, though I do have some gripes
Something small, but When right clicking a bookmarked tab, the first thing you see on top is to open the tab. I feel that this is redundant. "Why do I need to right click to open when I could just click the link itself?" It's also inconsistent when you right click a link which allows you to open in a new tab the moment you see the right click menu. It took me some getting used to but I have no idea why this is an option
(Image of the right click menu when opening a bookmark)
(Image of the right click menu on any other link)There's also the huge problem with viewing discord streams. It's constantly stuck loading. And I know it's not my internet connection because It's alright on any other browser and on the discord app.
(why is the stream not loading REEEEEE) -

So 1 week ago, I decided to move from Chrome to use Opera GX because of it's UI and the built-in messengers and discord and the custom backgrounds, I really like it now but they can improve by adding like light mode.
