Extensions deleted after swapping out SSD

I'm on a MacBook Pro 13" (2014) with macOS 10.15.7, Opera version 72.0.3815.320. Something went wonky with the computer so I took out the SSD and swapped it into another one, same model as above.
When launching Opera I noticed that almost all my extensions were gone. I went to ~/Users/dragonfly/Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.Opera/Extensions and the only one left was Opera AdBlocker.
I replaced my ~/Users/dragonfly/Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.Opera folder with one from a backup and left the window open. I see the extensions in there. I launched Opera and within seconds I watched my extensions disappear.
What's happening here and how can I get Opera not to delete my extensions on its own?
