I use Opera browser on my Acer Nitro 7, and it crashes everytime I am prompted to Show all files, which happens when I want to browse and upload a document on Opera. However, it works when I drag and drop a picture into a holder.

I am using Opera on a PC and I been having the same problem recently. Whenever I try to upload a file or image to any website (facebook, instagram etc), it freezes the browser and never actually opens the window to do the uploading. I can drag and drop on some websites....

Anyone know what is going on?

Goto the URL opera://settings/userInterface, disable "Show popup with clipboard and recent downloads when uploading files" and restart Opera. The feature is buggy.

@voliaby If you like the feature, you can update Opera to 74.0.3911.203 if you haven't already, turn it back on and see if Opera still crashes. If not, then you can use the feature. If it still crashes, please test in Opera Beta and Opera Developer from https://www.opera.com/download. They might have a fix that just hasn't reached stable yet. You can uninstall them when done testing if you want.

I don't have the crashing problem myself, so I can't test. I think it might be due to what files and such you last copied in Windows. If they're huge or of a certain type, that might expose the bug in the feature.
