Address bar doesn't show what is typed, don't show suggestions, causes crash

After I updated my browser to the latest version the url suggestion doesn't work even after a restart and turn it on/off in the settings. Any help?

Hi boys, I can search nothing in top bar. When I type something, the Opera minimalize and not able me to open it. I must restart it and open again. In the sites like FB I can type normal. I tried to restart PC and reinstall Opera. The problem still appear. Please help me fast I need to work...

Version: Opera GX 71.0.3770.302
Issue: In the version 71.0.3770.287 still worked but after the last update typing in the address bar doesn't give any suggestions for search or even bookmarks. -

Hello, l started to use Opera GX like 1 weeks and now l have this issue
when l write something there like link or something else it doesnt visible and even l click Opera GX Desktop its still doesnt visible how do l fix this?(lf l wrote something wrong sorry for my bad english)

It would appear that the suggestion are still there and can be selected only the window pop up is not being displayed properly.

Similar problem on the same browser version. When you try to type any query in the address bar, it simply becomes inactive and can only be brought back to life by closing and opening it.
On the computer also Windows 7 SP1
Opera GX

No problem with the address bar here.
Did you try disabling extensions? Resetting settings? Resetting flags? Clean profile?
Already tried a clean installation of version 71.0.3770.302 and the address bar issue is there

I have the same problem, already uninstalled, deleted the windows registry, download the latest version, and even then it minimizes when trying to search for something in the search bar / address bar.

Hello i have the same problem. Everything was all right and after the last update, i can't type in the bar. After i type everything is blocked and i can here the keyboard but can use it. I have to close everytime Opera and re-open it.
I already deleted it, tried the repair button and everything

I don't know what it is called and searched all the settings but couldn't find a way to bring it back. It is gone after the newest update. Normally when I type something in the address bar there would be links showing up at the bottom of it. For example when I type "t" in the bottom it should show Twitch and Twitter etc. But after the newest update the part is missing. I don't know if it's a bug or I disabled it somehow.
The part I'm talking about suppose to show up where the questions marks are. -

I have the same problem. Before updated, everything still worked well, I also have deleted and reinstalled for the fifth times but it still happened.

Every time I type not even two letters in the address/search bar the browser disappears, like if it was minimized, but it doesnt open back, I need to close it by using the right click, or in the task manager.

After update last version Opera GX, i csn't write in top bar, opera star freeze, a reinstal opera 3 times and clear all data, but nothing helps. Help me!!
