What is the maximum file-size for Bookmarks Importing, for example, from Chrome to Opera? I'm having problems.

Chrome has been my primary browser, Opera my secondary browser. In Chrome I have a very well organized Bookmarks folder structure, in some cases with nested sub-folders within top-level folders. I'd like to now use Opera as my primary browser since Chrome is buggy on various video meeting and other software. When I export my Chrome Bookmarks file to my computer, the file is about 11 MB. That doesn't seem like a huge amount of data to be able to import into Opera.

On my laptop -- the machine I'm writing this on -- I had no problem at all importing those Chrome bookmarks into Opera. They work perfectly. But on my desktop Mac (MacPro, more RAM, faster processor), I have never been able to either "Import " that same Chrome bookmarks file into Opera -- Opera just starts to hang forever and I end up having to force quit. And I cannot just Sync my Macbook Pro's Opera bookmarks to my MacPro's Opera bookmarks either. Also hangs forever.

I cannot figure out what the limitation is on my MacPro. I even deleted all bookmarks from Opera on my MacPro, then quit Opera, then I uninstalled the application and trashed all related prefs files etc... Then I downloaded new Opera for Mac, installed on MacPro, then in settings, I went to turn on Sync , logging in to my Opera sync account, with the hope that the MacbookPro's bookmarks would eventually push onto my MacPro installation of Opera. But it also crashes.

      Anyone have any ideas?
Is there any kind of terminal command I can run perhaps with Opera closed on my MacPro, which will fetch and install the bookmarks set into the app, such that when i then launch the app, it will contain my bookmark files?
