shneck23 last edited by@ivankata It work slow/er/ because its writen in pure javascript. That is the price, you have to pay, to achieve "having one addon which can download and dencode into mp3". Iam so sorry, that it have no options...but my profession is "firefighter" and that is my hobby. This is my very first addon and I thing its amazing to have "first addon and first, wich can decode and download mp3 from youtube by one click"....

Just wanted to drop by and say thank you for this addon.To those of you not being satisfied here
Yes, it is true that it is a bit slow. BUT!
This wasn't made for mass downloads, just if you come across a song you like, you can download it. And besides, it is free, does not redirect you to some malicious website and does actually work!!! Is there another one you can say the same about? I doubt...
AND! What is slow? I was already around in the era of 28.8 internet, when loading a simple jpeg sometimes took 2 minutes, so what is slow?? :-)) -

Funciona perfeitamente, mas a barra onde clica para fazer o download poderia ser fundo Preto.
It works perfectly, but the bar where you click to download it could be black background.

Pros:
Very simple and not fussy, when it works. One click to start converting, one click to save!Cons:
- Today it stopped working completely. I press the download button and the button disappears completely. After about 10 seconds it appears again like nothing happened and so on.
- It doesn't support non-latin characters. So if the video title is 100% in a different alphabet the download button won't even appear. So you can't download it! If the video title has non-latin words + some numbers, then the button appears with only the numbers.
- The YMD box is displayed as "always on top" over the YouTube page and covers all pop-ups. And it's located exactly in the place where YouTube "share link" pop-up appears. So every time I want to share a video I need to press [share] and then scroll the page to have the share pop-up appear from under the YMD bar. Very annoying. Why not move the bar to be at the top of the whole page?
- Very long videos won't convert.

@ultinet Iam sorry to read that. Could you be more specific, in which way "it is not working"? Addon button is inactive? Track names is not in list for download? Nothing happens after clicking on track to download? I have some issues with my addon here on my PC, but in general, it works. Thank you

@shneck23 The download bar below the title dosenot show anymore and on the youtube logo it used to say YMD now its just regular youtube and no DL option

@megalithic Oh I see. The addon is redesigned. Now it has its own button in top right corner (or you have to go to your addons and manualy move it to the top bar). I hope it helps

@megalithic Yes, now its downloading M4A music files, because its super fast and M4A is quite common audio format, so I decided not to encode into MP3, because encoding with javascript is slow as hell. Few users was complaining about it too, so you can keep older version. Maybe I could implement option (encode into MP3 or just download M4A file) in next version
So stay tuned... Iam not professional coder, its just hobby and Iam learning on the go. Thank you for your understanding -
