Hello there! I watch youtube a lot in my spare time, and when I was using chrome it lagged a lot, like couldn't scroll, the video wouldn't load etc. and that's the reason why I moved on Opera GX and it worked so fine! Until 3-4 days ago. Why? Just why? I Haven't done nothing to affect it, still have the same bookmarks/extensions. I tried everything I saw on this forum, even the things pinned.
-Disabled all exstensions
-Disabled the ad-blocker
-Reset settings to default
-Reset flags to default
-Disabled Hardware Acceleration
-Relogged on my youtube accounts
-Reinstalled Opera GXand many more which I forgot
Below you have my PC setup, which shouldn't affect nothing related to Opera as it didn't in the past.
-CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 3600 (50°C)
-GPU: GTX 1070 Dual OC 8GB (50°C)
-RAM: 16GB CrosshairI change my thermal paste regularly and blow off the dust too with compressed Air.
Before this incident, Opera GX started doing another stupid thing, which hasn't occurred until now. Now I actually need to click the skip ads button when I use the Ad-block on YouTube while being on a white background, which I hate that too.
I really don't wanna change my browser. I Downloaded this because it was fast on youtube, didn't used much RAM, and it was designed for gamers. Please, does anybody have an idea?

I occasionally get lag or a stutter on videos when using GX. I don't have this issue with Chrome, however. What I've noticed is that if you watch Youtube videos with anything major running in the background (usually RuneScape for me), that's when this happens and I can usually fix it by restarting the browser.
However, I did find a thread on the main Opera forum that addresses this issue and it seemed to help me, so maybe it'll help you too?
Also, regarding Opera's built-in ad blocker, I use standard Opera on my laptop and I just run the built-in blocker (for the sake of performance) and I notice that it doesn't block as many ads as I wish it would. I use GX on my PC and I ended up installing my favorite ad blocker (Adguard) on it because it always worked exceptionally well on previous browsers. Thankfully, it works just as well on GX.

I also have got this problem since 3 weeks ago. Youtube is not useable. When I click on something it will take 10-20 sec until it actually click. I dont have this problem on any other sites only Youtube. I tried also all the things.

I this problem too It takes ages to load up a YouTube video and even when the page is actually loaded it takes another long while for the video to actually render. Then another while so it can render in HD. Same as you, its only on YouTube. The action delay while it loads is terrible as well, it takes 10 seconds for my clicks to register. It gets better after a bit of being on the video, but I still hate it.
