Hello
I wish to use presearch but I am unable to set it as default.
It is listed in (Other Search engine's)
below main ones of which I can right click and set default.
When I right click I can only edit or delete, I can not elevate it into main section.
Can anyone help please as I don't want to go back to chrome.

@woody8086 Only the pre-defined search engines can be set as the default one.

The desktop opera version does not seem offer the synced speed dials from mobile devices. I have the option see the speed dials on all my mobile devices with the special speed dial icon. However, I do not see this option on the windows version. Maybe I am missing something?

opera://bookmarks
Thanks - I assumed the other speed dials would be an icon on speed dials tab, just like the mobile version. I'm new to Opera!

@woody8086 As known, only pre-defined search engines can be set as default one.

I have been using Opera for quite some time but I have become increasingly annoyed with the fact that I cannot make Google Canada my search engine. Every time I do a search I have to go up to the address bar and change the .com to .ca so that I can default my search to Canada. I I used Opera because I don't like Chrome, but I have just moved my home pages over to Chrome, and will use it until I see a solution to this issue. It is more important to me to have a browser that will search within Canada.
