I dont know how the E-HDD could be opened by opera GX. If you installed opera GX on your E-HDD than that could be it. But opera GX doesnt have a feature to open E-HDD, Opera would had said there was such a feature on release. Think this is more a u problem than a opera problem.

May be it was due to Ad blocker.

@tristan Believe me, it does. Obviously Opera GX is not installed in the e-hdd. I have a fresh instalation of windows 10, no plugins, no other software opened and happens.
If you think the problem is between PC and chair, I have imported bookmarks from html file from e-hdd, thats the only thing I do with e-hdd and Opera GX.
Each time I open Opera GX it looks for the html bookmark file in the e-hdd?
I'm technician, I know what I do, sorry.

@steveharis22 No plugins. However I have activated ad blocker from internal Opera GX function.
Can a ad blocker activate de e-hdd? Why?

Maybe that is the cause?

@steveharis22 Not solved, but look the image attached.
When I open Opera, ext-hdd starts but windows monitor shows nothing related to my ext-hdd (letter "D"). But I test importing bookmarks and happens what you see in the capture:
"Taller 4" is where I store my university docs.
"Marcadores_21_7_20.html" is my imported bookmarks file.
"D:$Mft (Tabla maestra de archivos NTFS)" I know what it is, but not what Opera does.
Etc.So, what is happening?
