Closing the last tab should close the browser.

Why doesn't closing the last tab close the browser ? It is very annoying..and i think it was working a few days ago...

When and why did they change this ?

Every other browser closes on closing the last open tab..

Opera opens the speed dial page instead.

@raktabeej They never changed it, GX always worked this way and also Opera Chromium. Even Opera Presto stayed opend even with no tabs opened.

This is one of the best features of Opera. Sometimes I am using other browsers and forget that they don't have it and often have to reopen them.

Ive been using Opera GX since October last year and never noticed this ?

is there any tweak to make it do so ?

I remember closing the tab to close the browser.

Dude, sincerely i really like that feature, in chrome it was really annoying for me to close all the tabs and accidentally close the browser.
