After updating or bein updated to Opera 23.xxx I have lost all my bookmarks using: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/bookmarks-manager/?display=en

I managed to keep a bookmarks file from the Opera Stable folder but cannot load it into the Bookmarks Manager anymore as it only takes html ...also bookmarks cant be set thru this extension anymore, maybe needs to be updated?

I use Chrookmarks for Chrome, a bookmarks manager, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrookmarks-chrome-bookma/kcdheengilgkagjehknnnofigbmlnnfj?hl=en

and it's working fine in Opera 23.

To download a Chrome extension easily, you need the Opera extension, called Download Chrome Extension, https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/?display=en
        or Extension Source Viewer, https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/extension-source-viewer/

          Many thanks!

The problem is that I already have my bookmarks saved in the other extension; since the Opera 23.xxx update all are gone & I have no acces, except the described file, which I cannot open. So it would be better to make this work first, before switching to another ext.

All in all: nothing but problems and stress since the auto update 😉

Maybe they're not saved in that other extension, but simply accessed. Perhaps a different bookmark manager can access them. Remember, if you download an extension, you can always uninstall it if you are unhappy.
