Cannot pin sidebar

after upgrade to Version:68.0.3618.63, my sidebar is not pinned
then try to click pin icon, but nothing happens, icant click pin icon

very annoying bug!

Opera is up to date

@Choki What do you mean by pin sidebar? At least on Windows, you can just enable or disable it.

In Opera, goto the URL opera://about and take note of the "profile" path. Then, close Opera.

Use a JSON file editor to edit the "Preferences" file in the profile folder. In the file, delete the "sidebar" node under the root/ui/browser node.

That should reset things with the sidebar so that you can recustomize them where things hopefully work properly.

@Choki Ah, pin the messenger panel, not the sidebar.

What happens when you click on it?

I tested in Opera Stable and Opera Developer on Linux Mint XFCE and pinning doesn't work there either. When left-clicking on the pin icon or anywhere on the bar the icon is on, the cursor icon turns to a hand that grabs. In other words, it's as if the icon isn't even there as far as clicking goes. Left-clicking and holding on the bar and dragging is like dragging the title bar to unmaximize the window and move it around.
