I am just wondering if there is an option to export bookmarks, passwords etc from Opera to other supported browsers like Firefox, Chrome.

One user requested this info in our team. I was searching around the browsers' settings and did a bit of Google search but could not find the same. Additionally the interoperability with new Microsoft Edge (Import/Export) seems to be missing too.

For bookmarks, goto the URL opera://bookmarks and use the drop-down at the bottom left to export bookmarks to an html file. You can then import them into other Chromium-based browsers like Chrome and the new Microsoft Edge. And, you should be able import them into Firefox as well.

For passwords, goto the URL opera://settings/passwords and click the kebab menu (3 vertical dots) to the right of "Saved Passwords" and export your passwords to a csv file. You can then import them (using the same menu) into other Chromium-based browsers or another Opera if you enable the flag chrome://flags/#PasswordImport. For Firefox though, you'd have to import the csv file into the new Microsoft Edge or Chrome and then import from them using Firefox's import option in the meatball menu (3 horizontal dots) at the URL about:login, or use a 3rd-party tool or extension.

For general settings, I don't know of a solution exception copying over profile files to another Chromium-based browser.

@lavanyadeepak-0 "Hekasoft backup&restore" backs up your settings (search engines, speed dial) and bookmarks but does not back up passwords and extensions.
So....still left some job to do after using it.....but it is still a good program - you can also backup and restore a lot of other programs like browsers, Mozilla Thunderbird, Skype, uTorrent and so on....
          You could try it.
