Is it possible to change the white O letter to something more colorful?

I am using opera-next right now on my Arch Linux box (xfce). For me it's very annoying when I switch the aplications on the taskbar, and I accustomed to the red O. Is it possible to change the white O letter of the embedded icon to something more colorful, let's say a red, orange or blue one?
[Moved to the Linux area as it's not related to Next/Developer]

In Windows at least, you can change Opera Next 12.x into Opera 12.x (with the red O, and the menu text reading "Opera") by going to opera:config and setting System > Opera product to 0 (then save and restart). Likewise, I suppose someone could change Opera to Opera Next by setting that same value to 1 (if they wanted a white O). Those appear to be the only choices.

In my opera:config -> System all I get is "DisableTextSelect" option, nothing else.
My Opera version
Version 12.15
Build 1745
Platform Linux
System i686, 3.14.1-1-ARCH
