Changing default search engine doesn't work

I tried changing my default search engine to DuckDuckGo. In the settings, it now shows DuckDuckGo is my default search engine, even after rebooting. However, when I actually search for anything, Google is used instead.

Using Opera 67 on Arch Linux.

@followerofpenguins So when you do a search in address bar, it shows Google results instead of DDG ones, even DDG being the default search engine?

When I originally asked the question it did. Strangely, trying again now, it does use DuckDuckGo when I use the address bar, but it still uses Google when I use the "search" field on the Opera start page. This is of course not as big of an issue, as I can always just use the address bar, but it's still a bit strange.

@followerofpenguins You can't change the start page's search engine, just hide the search field as discussed before in may other topics and as mentioned in the FAQ.
