Now for example when using V7 Bookmark extension which is far better than what Opera offers i cant make it smaller than a specific size anymore.

The Extension was an nice Extra Bar directly right on the Sidebar which was freely resizable but now its locked to a far to big maximum size.....

I went back to 65 and i wont ever touch any higher version until i read about a fix for this mess...

I want the old seperate Extension Bar behavior back.

Also trying Vivaldi now for the 1st time..

you will lose me as customer since many years

I completely agree with you. Even from the esthetic point of view it doesn´t make sence.

@domovnik Totally agreed. Extensions Bar > Sidebar

What a horrible way of merging extensions bar into sidebar. It should have been implemented the other way around.
I love v7 Notes so much, but this change completely destroyed the experience.

Look at this fixed, fat and ugly sidebar covering the left side from top to bottom with the Opera logo next to the icons in the tabs. How is this aesthetically pleasing? Which design school would suggest that?

          Why opera, just why?

I found this (maybe temporary?) fix:
@burnout426 said in Can we re-enable extension sidebar with new version 66?:

For now, you can disabled the new behavior. Goto the URL opera://flags/#sidebar-extensions-in-browser-sidebar, disable it, and restart Opera. No guarantee how long the flag will remain though.
