      On some pages when I use Copy image from context menu (right click) I get image url instead of image data.

          The original poster did say "on some pages", perhaps he should provide an example. Or several, to see what they have in common.

                How do you "paste" what you have copied?
                e.g. You paste it on an image app like gimp on a blank image?
