Hello,
My passwords are not being saved to Opera, it does request to save passwords and when I hit save the key shows up beside the website address, but when you click it, it says not passwords saved. Also, Opera sync options are not being shown.
Thank you -

@dcoletti And there's nothing in the saved passwords section in settings?

@dcoletti Any difference if you delete the Login Data file?

@dcoletti Already tried with extensions disabled as instructed? What about with a clean Opera profile?

@leocg The only extension I have is the Opera adblocker, should I try disabling that? I have tried reinstalling opera before, is that a clean profile?

@dcoletti Nope, unless you have uninstalled Opera with the option to remove your data enabled.

@dcoletti Then you created a new clean Opera profile.

@leocg Alright, so that didn't change anything. Is there anything else I can do?

@dcoletti Can't recall of anything at the moment.

Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import settings from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera, but do not enable any extensions and do not enable Opera Sync.
Does saving passwords at least work there?

@burnout426 Just tried it, it didn't save my passwords.

Okay. It either something outside of Opera (like Ccleaner or Bitdefender or Sandboxie or some other security/cleaning software) or something incompatible with Opera and your OS.
What Windows OS do you have? Do you have a password set for your Windows user account? Are you running as a normal user or an admin? Anything special about your setup?

Also, see https://windowsreport.com/google-chrome-wont-save-passwords/. The first bullet point and #1 might help.

I'm experiencing the same problem. NO saved passwords.
It used to work fine. Now there are no passwords saved. I tried re-installing Opera. No change.
Using Windows 10 with the most recent update 11/1/19.
No extensions are running and Opera seems fine otherwise.

@jimatopera-0 Do you have a password set for your user account on Windows?
