Suggestive Text Box has black text with black background

In the past couple of days, when I am completing data entry fields the suggestive text overlay box has gone from white with black text to black with black text, which obviously is not very usable!! Can any one suggest how to get this back to normal please

Using light or dark theme? What version of Opera and what OS?

@Suneese i dunno if this will help.. but I'd reset the theme to default, shut off the browser, and then run it and set the theme back to your choice

Thanks for the clarification. I can't reproduce that. It's black text on white background for me. Maybe it's one of your extensions causing the issue. Or, did you mess with opera://flags? You might have to do what @nvmjustagirl suggested.

@burnout426 Thanks for trying. It all started about 3 days ago. I havent changed anything within Opera. I have tried reseting to default and that hasnt helped.

Try testing with a new profile to see if it's something on your system or something inside Opera.

Download the installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera but don't enable Opera Sync and don't install any extensions.
