Option to disable autoplaying gifs and videos

This feature was one of the major reasons I switched from Firefox to Opera. If you are scrolling through Facebook, gifs can slow browsing speed to that of legislation. Why was it removed? Could it be added back? Other browsers have squat for convenience with this feature, though most do more than having no option at all, as Opera does right now. This is Opera's chance to shine.

No idea how to stop gifs from animating, but I have an extension which stops HTML videos from autostarting: Disable HTML5 Autoplay.

@leocg I'm not sure what you are saying. How are Facebook videos here? I refer to using the Opera browser to view gifs on Facebook and places like that. I used to be able to set them to play only when clicked.

@leocg Okay, but Opera doesn't. I'm suggesting the feature be re-added.
