I need to get my bookmarks back to get my articles for my essays back but i can not because my whole hdd partition crashed. now i all the online sync data is gone because i can not remember the passphrase and it cannot be changed without deleting all the sync data. this is all so stupid. either eliminate the passphrase and let is sync directly with the opera account or dont force people to delete their sync data to get a new sync password

It clearly asked me for the passphrase, which i couldnt not remember, and in the process of getting a new one, i didnt know it would reset all the data in this account i had gathered for writing my articles and essays and which i also lost in the local hdd file. now i got nothing

If your HDD is accessible as slave or via Linux Live, you would recover your data, despite your System is crashed.

@leocg there is no question about the passphrase or the online sync data loss in the faq. also do you know how to read? i asked why do i need to lose all my data online if i want to reset the damn passphrase. i lost my local data and you force my to delete the online data. when you change your password in any other account of any other service you dont lose your data, or do facebook resets your profile and google deletes all your emails and sync browser data or steam takes all your games licenses from you?

@leocg well that is exactly why that is dumb. delete it. you can synchronize directly with peoples accouts like all other services do. i forgot the passphrase and lost all my data. it is plain stupid
