The whole reason I switched from IE to opera back in the day was the feature to add Description to my bookmarks for important stuff. When I saw that opera 15 and up no longer use the Description in the bookmarks my whole world collapse on me.And now I use 12.7 and will not upgrade. So I went looking for something to solve my problem. Then I found robofrom. Only thing is it only works with Opera 7-11 but in the change logs of the site of it talks about use with opera 15.
Does roboform work with the latest ver of opera or will I have to change my browser.
Also why did opera get rid of the Panels which were great another great thing that made opera different form all other browsers.

Also why did opera get rid of the Panels which were great another great thing that made opera different form all other browsers. To keep a correct perspective, realize that Opera did not "get rid" of a number of not-present-now features, panels included. With the major redesign of their browser, Opera elected not to expend the additional effort necessary to add them into the new design, at least thus far. That's a significant difference from having the features present as a "given" but Opera choosing not to provide them to users. Whether or not we agree with Opera about their choices/priorities regarding various features, "getting rid" of them implies that they were there to start with in the new engine and initial design... which they were not, in at least most cases. Most of the time, if something is not in a product built largely from the ground up, it's because adding it would cost more resources and effort.

It looks like the answer to your question is YES -- you can use RoboForm Lite with the latest version of Opera.
First, I opened Opera 12.17 and checked available extensions, and see that you can get RoboForm Lite with it. So that must be what you're using.
The exact same extension -- RoboForm Lite -- is available as an add-on extension for Opera 22. The description for this add-on is exactly the same as it is for the one with Opera 12.17. Here's what I found as the add-on extension for Opera 22.

Robo-form lite covers all bookmark features. (I believe that language is used to compared it to the full featured RoboForm that people pay for).
