for the 2nd time I have gotten this error "This application was unable to start correctly" can I get more replies then a "have you tried reinstall" the last time I posted the mods or community did nothing to help.

What have you tried? Deleting the profile, making sure your video drivers are up to date, etc? Also, what version of Windows, what version of Opera, etc.

@bigoofman As far as I know, this error message can have various causes. Sometimes there is a hint to the possible reason in the Windows Event Viewer.

@bigoofman Addendum: I can see that this question arose almost a month ago. At that time @burnout426 answered with a link to a website with a possible solution. Unfortunately there was no feedback from the user whether the procedure described there could solve the problem.
