      Hi,
      I really ejoy & liked GX but with this issue I can't worked on it.
      After reopen only sing of my activity before quiting is

      • history
      • DL files
      • password
        Rest, like Bars, GX, Bookmarks, Extensions, Synch, opened Tabs and etc.,
        settings are back to default like in 1st run.
        WHY?!?

        @ragestan Opera is not being allowed to save the data on your profile directory or a third party software is erasing your data.

        Try checking if the problem happens with a clean profile.

          Do you have an idea that this state of affairs is available on my default user?
          (I have not seen similar problems with other browsers)

            @ragestan Maybe your old profile was corrupted.
            Try resetting the settings.

              Hi
              so, that we understand each other well,
              change that I did, then everything is OK!
              is installing GX on a new user under Windows 8.1.
              When it comes to the Opera profile, it doesn't change anything.
              So the problem is the default user settings under Win and here something
              does not match ...... but what?

              Any Idea?
              (I don't want create new User or reinstall system 4 GX)

                  Yes, changing Opera profile doesn't change anything, still 1st run for each open.
                  That only happend on my default win user and only with this GX, on other win user and with the same opera profile is OK.

                    @ragestan Might I suggest something. This might require some work on both you and Opera developers. Please download Process Monitor (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon). I would then add a filter based on the path which contains "Opera GX". Clear the current log and then start the capture process. Start Opera GX and then do some actions. Exit Opera GX. Save the process monitor log and send it to Opera. Perhaps they could look at the log file and see what is going on (what system calls are failing and why).

                      Problem solved !!!
                      I had to change the permissions and add my user for the folder and all its elements in:

                      C: \ Users \ [username] \ AppData \ Roaming \ Opera Software
