Is there a way to add the voice search from chrome into Opera 22 ?

Seems kind of silly to remove/not add the only feature chrome has.. Unless its already there and I can't see it.

Yes, I believe so. Have you tried this extension. It's Voice Search. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/voice-search/hhfkcobomkalfdlmkongnhnhahkmnaad?hl=en
Voice Search comes pre-loaded with the following default services: Google, Wikipedia, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Wolfram|Alpha.
So for example, you could use it even with Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. I'm not sure how it interracts with the Opera default engines, but it looks promising.
Now as long as you have the Opera Extension, called "Download Chrome Extension," you can download and install in Opera Chrome extensions. https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/?display=en

It does give you a voice icon on the icon bar. I didn't do more with it. Sorry if it didn't work.
Here's another one to try. So uninstall the one you download. Here's another one you might want to try, that supposedly gives you Google Voice in any website. It's called GooNow Voice. It has over 16,000 users. Let us know if it works for you.
Remember, you still need the Opera extension, called Download Chrome Extension, to successfully install a Chrome Extension.

Other than wondering if it might be something with your Microphone setting on your computer, I give up
