Can we have an option to create bookmarks in PDF that we have opened from a file in the PC?

I don't want to bookmark the PDF. Lets say I am reading a PDF which has 100 pages, I am currently on Page 40, Now when I close Opera I want the PDF to start at page 40 and not from the beginning.

@bob-iitr We know PDF as a standard for document viewing and exchanging files, independent of the environment in which they were created; for example, Acrobat provides for interactive JavaScript actions within and related to itself, however a PDF file in the browser does not have access to objects within a HTML page or the browser. Similarly, JavaScript in a web page cannot access objects within a PDF file.
Even though in HTML, JavaScript is able to manipulate such objects as Window - JavaScript for Acrobat cannot access this individual object but it can control PDF-specific objects.
Therefore, it is important to be aware of the differences between JavaScript used in a PDF file and JavaScript used in a web page. -

Try bookmarking an address like this:
file:///C:/Users/yourusername/Downloads/multipage.pdf#page=3

@burnout426 thanks. But a simple button to bookmark like acrobat or chrome would have gone a long way.

@bob-iitr Indeed. That's just a workaround. In Chrome it's a littler easier because you can click "more" when you click the star in the address field to bookmark. There you can add
#page=n
to the bookmark URL before saving the bookmark.
