Opera is not usable after update // Can't open new window

Since update to opera 62.0.3331.18-1.1 (openSuSE Tumbleweed) I can't open a new window or switch to another tab. Opera runs fine with another users profile (nearly empty).

Which information do I have to gather?

@hedwig5 If it works with a clean profile, then something in your profile may be causing the issue.
Did you try resetting the settings?

@leocg What do you mean by resetting the settings? Is there any manual for this? It's important to me, that I don't loose tabs (I did a backup).

@leocg I can't get to this tool. Opera shows a grey rectangle when clicking at the red "O". All other elements do not respond. So I can only manipulate files or do something at the command line.

You can delete opera's profile and start from scratch like so
rm -r ~/.config/opera
but his will delete your bookmarks, configuration etc.
