This bug still happening on version LVL 1 (core: 60.0.3255.50962). I tried reinstaling but it doesen't fix it.

Hello, I have such a problem that I can not attach to the taskbar the two icons of different Opera and Opera GX browsers.

I update the opera GX to the LVL 1 (core: 60.0.3255.50962) and the problem stays there

@tparavani it worked thanks i was this close to delete it until it was fix ,it was not a big deal just annoying

I have the same problem, but I found a solution to fix it :

1°) Go to the installation folder of Opera GX
2°) Right click on "launcher.exe" => send to => Desktop (shortcut)
3°) Move the new shortcut in the installation folder of Opera GX
4°) Rename the shortcut "Opera GX" for more visibility
5°) Drag the new shortcut from the installation folder of Opera GX to the taskbar and unpin the Opera (classic if is already pin
6°) Enjoy!

Hi there, I am having the same problem and I have installed using the "All Users" option. For me I noticed that if I pin it then close the browser it stays pinned. If I open the browser again and close it it unpins itself.

I want add opera to the Windows taskbar, i add it but every time i open Opera the icon is removed from Taskbar when i close it. Why and how to solve?

Steps:

• right click on the opera desktop icon
• add to taskbar
• open Opera
• close opera
  Results: the icon is no more present on the Windows taskbar

after the icon on the taskbar missing every time i was opening it from there ,we solve that ok
now i guess after the last update, i have it in the taskbar but it cant be deleted shortcut from windows home screen
