Can't distinguish tabs

The function of this browser is phenomenal. The visual interface is (putting it nicely) is total crap. In light mode, you can't see the edges. You can't tell this window from the next because Opera doesn't comply with your desktop theme or settings. You have a choice of light mode or dark mode. Plus, you cannot see which tab is which, either in light or dark mode. I have to put it in dark mode (which I hate) to get a thin black line on the right and bottom edges. Otherwise, it all just runs together. Please, can we get someone to write a usable interface? This is NOT cute or clever.
