Whenever Windows 10 updates (this has been an ongoing issue for 6 months+ ) I am unable to enter a password in Google Accounts from Opera. This is the same regardless of the Google site (Google Maps, YouTube) . I can access the account if I go in via the private window on Opera but this means I cannot use the Opera password logs and any downloads will only show in progress from the non-private window, so if I download something with a browser extension I have to switch screens to check it has started the download. This problem has previously corrected after a few weeks without me doing anything, presumably after a patch from either Google, Opera or Microsoft. This seems to happen after every Windows 10 update and I get that Opera will probably want to kick the problem to them but it is only Opera that this happens on. I've removed the password from the Opera logs to no avail. I can enter my email but that's as far as it will allow, I don't even get a password screen, it just hangs after I enter the email. I can get in using Microsoft Edge, it's just Opera that is having the problem. Browser was updated from version 58 to 60.0.3255.95 this morning but does not seem to be related to the build (still occurs).

Do you use Opera Sync? If so, are you encrypting your data with a custom passphrase?

        Do you user Opera's VPN?

Are you blocking 3rd party cookies?

Have you cleared all cookies for google.com?

Have you tried disabling all your extensions?

        Are you using Opera's adblocker?

If you download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck any checkboxes, you want and install (do not enable sync or anything in it), how does that Opera behave (right now at least)?

I got around this error by logging into my Opera account in Chrome or another browser, then link your google account to your opera account.
