Opera Mail doesnt open

hi i have a question about opera mail 1.0 1044 since a few days it doesnt start proberly it gives a message there is a problem and doesnt start it creats a crash.txt which i attach. i really need my mails from there, the contacts and all the label/filers - can anybody help me, thx a lot regards margot

Close down Opera Mail and delete the autosave.win file in the "sessions" folder in the profile folder.

If that doesn't fix it, close down Opera Mail and rename operaprefs.ini in the profile folder.

operaprefs.ini and the sessions folder should be in "C:\Users\yourusername\Appdata\Roaming\Opera Mail\Opera Mail" for example.

What's the message say exactly?

I don't see anything attached. The file probably won't help anyway.

hi you are awesome, thanks so much, started again when i deleted this autosave.win file, just great, thx so much.

can you tell me if you suggest to change the mailprogramm to outlook or so because opera mail isnt developped anymore. in the meanwhile i went with it and i have anyway the office365.

If Opera Mail is working fine for you, there's no need to switch. I switched to Thunderbird myself though after Opera Mail was discontinued.
