I did not now, since when exactly, but opera 55 has make me using chrome instead.
i use opera since Version 6 in the last Century and i like it very much. But now, i have to wait sometimes up to 10 seconds before the curser is placed into a field or adress line.
sometimes it is as it should be. But if i want post a message in a forum, and have to put my username and email into the fields, and i have to wait 10 seconds each, that is not normal.
i checked and did not find any reason.
has anyone an idea?
what is best to do?

Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation" and install. Test with that Opera for a bit to see if things work fine. If so, it's probably something with your normal Opera (the profile, extensions or something).
