Well, with the 'Phone' layout selected in 'Setting' it give you the maximum viewing area, plus when you scroll down a page (swipe up) the top tool bar scrolls up the page too, thus giving you a full-screen viewing area for web content.

Well, what UI elements are visible on-screen when using the 'Phone' layout ?. I don't see any, apart from the tool bar just after the page loads and just before scrolling the page. Looks like full-screen to me, even though it doesn't have a labelled menu/settings item/option labelled as such.

Yes. fullscreen mode is in mini Version. But we need this in opera browser for Android.

Older Presto versions of Opera Mobile go completely full screen and do hide the notification bar.

Yep full screen (no notification bar) on Android. Opera 12.10 Presto (Classic).

Yes, in settings, turn off 'Status bar'. But you can still view/access the status/notification bar by doing a quick swipe down from the top of the screen.

Are you sure? My Opera Mini for Android does nothide the notificationstab. Yes. In mini is full screen browsing. We need this in Android.
