Google Maps won't locate Mac on Opera (resolved!)

MacBook Air 13'' Early 2015
OS High Sierra 10.13.6
Opera 54.0.2952.54 (when the issue occurred)
Opera 54.0.2952.60 solved the issue (while I was just typing this!)

...so it's just for all users' info!

ehm, it seems I spoke too soon, the issue has occurred again...

btw, location does work on all other browsers, which isolates the issue to Opera only, I suppose.
The issue persisted after resetting Opera and turning AdBlock estension off.

Try SiteSetings SideBar extension, and test the Location option.

If the problem remains,
look at How to report problems in Opera.

For the clean profile:

• Opera Help > Crashes and issues.

@zalex108 Site Settings Sidebar extension has resolved the issue.
I had to toggle location off (Block) and then back on (Allow).
