  • Hi, I have a great feature request, this is all about sending a website currently viewed on my phone to be opened on my computer next time I'm opening opera if not currently open, it would add the URL of the page to be opened as a new tab on my computer, it would also show me a list of all current devices that my Opera account is syncronized with, for example, I got my phone and my computer, I have opened an website I would like to view on my computer when I get home or to work, a "send to device" option would have o fly out menu with current connected devices to this opera account and it would:

    A) URL would be sent to one of the Sync que servers at Opera connected to my account.

😎 Computer sycronized with opera server connected to my account, detect a change on the server.

    C) Que would send the URL connected to my account to the request of my browser and simply load it.

    D) Que would be cleared as que has been sent when browser sent an success message to Opera server.

This would be a neat and very useful feature and one of it's kind. Chrome has a similar feature but reversed, from computer to phone. And this would greatly be working both ways as per request of the user ONLY.

I hope you take my request seriously and would be looked over and maybe at some point be worked on.

It would also be a good idea to enable to send feature requests from the settings menu, across all devices. As this would speed up the process of great ideas to come to life.

    Great regards, Mattias Magnusson.

  • @mattish91 How would it be different from what Opera already does currently?

Your opened tabs are already synced between your connected devices.

  • And if you are using Opera Touch, you can use 'Send to My flow' to send ´page links to be opened later in your desktop.
