@jfhicter I think the dark function would give more aesthetics to your browser. Well, that's just my opinion.

@leocg The difference is in the favorite bar. U have more folders and launching-icons on the current version. The beta version adds some space between the elements, and so, i can't have access to my launchers except by clicking on the arrow at the end. And graphicaly, the current version is better!

@leocg It seems that the Opera team is about to release a major fail!!! Beta 55 fav bar s*cks and I don't want that the current release to be affected by this fault. Is it clear?

@leocg Yes, I repeat, because the staff doesn't seem to care about my request. And when the issue will be in the official release, I will have to complain in the official release forum part. Great, isn't it?!

1: The design was perfect, why change it?
2: Very few users are posting on this forum...
3: Very few users are surveying the beta and dev versions...So, yes, let's hope a reaction when the official new design will be released!

Oh wow, the beta version looks really bad, hopefully they won't push it like that to the stable channel. @jfHicter is right, that is way too much wasted space.

Thank you @smnstrk! The anger rumbles!
Apparently, the staff needs a petition to fix such an obvious fail! -

@leocg It should not be that complicated for programmers to keep the current version of the bookmarks bar in the new Chromium code...

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I've read something about this issue in the past few weeks. Can't find it anywhere right now. IIRC, there was a bug (chromium or chrome canary, not sure) that has already been fixed. Maybe Opera is using an older version.

@smnstrk As far as I can judge, the space used in Chrome/Canary is different than the space in Opera beta. The space is slightly shorter but some bookmarks are "out". The good dosage, for me, is Opera stable.
